This is my beloved stray on the island. Since day one, she has been hanging around my apartment. Being the softie that I am for cats, I have also been feeding her since day one. The hysterical thing about this cat is that when I first arrived on the island my neighbor was trying to teach me the word for cat or "Nekko." I had horrible mispronounced it and called her "Nekku" which apparently means "meat." Think about it, I am in an asian country and for the past month and a half, I would scream "MEAT!" everytime I saw a cat around a co-worker or a boss to display my new found knowledge. I have since been corrected. I think "Meat" is a good name for a stray, don't you?
